I have a 11 year old daughter that loves the bike, so what better quality time to spend than on the bike. I was thinking of the Tankwa Nature park and then on to somewhere north, but lost a camelback being inattentive and pure stupid.
So through Ceres we hooked a left to the Cederberg.
It was hot, but soon found a shady spot to rest the wheels and let her take some pics..
We were heading for Krom rivier.
The gps set on t4a had a lekker curve ball to through at us..
As we got over one of the many rises the gps pointed left up a steepish hill needles to say I missed the turn of and had to find a spot to turn around. What did not ad up was that there was no board stating that we now going to the farm?
Ag wat lets just go, and the two wheel track took us right to the back entrance of the camp site through some nearly fall down sandy bits and some marble down hills.
Took a swim, had some bullie and sweetcorn for supper and then count the satellites and falling stars while talking ourselves to sleep.
Next morning up before the sun started with its duty , we had packed and departed west towards Algiers. There is some road works and the road gets a bit loose on some stages, but thatâ??s what the AT loves.
We made good time and before Eendstop of the Eendekuil hotel could put away his breakfast making utensils, we were seated for a hearty affordable brekkie.
We also took the liberty of a quick cooldown before hitting the road to Misverstand.
At The dam we were greeted by friends the have a little cabin on the dam.
John and Christa entertained us with their water bike and all its glory.. when last did I do something like this â?¦.
483 km Later and we back home at 18H30
We are now bigger choms than before !!!!!!
