Ek is net oor halfpad met my XTZ. As jy die fiets se 50k en my ouderdom bymekaartel is ons amper daar...

Well done MJ & MH, You guys are an inspiration to many who keep their "show ponies" in the garage and use them once in a while. Mark you must have one tough ass brother, 200 km in one day on my katoom and I feel like Iv' been molested!
Happy riding Centurions.

The longest single day trip was just over 1200kms, 9hrs of solid riding. Talk about feeling molested x 2  :lol8:

In 2015 at last we did a Lesotho trip. It was on my bucket list for too long

And so in November 2015 , on a Karoo trip I hit the 180,000 km mark on the bike ......

This means that I am nearing 150,000 on this bike ....

A little later in the trip, I had a little incident, but we are still friends .....

Nice mile stone. I've done a few hundred thousand kilo's on bikes, but never keep any one bike long enough to get there. Most was about 70 000km on my previous AT.

The Pig and I are now at about 34 000km and I think we might get there one day.

True and honest respect to all you centurions....... :thumleft: :ricky:

Lekker man :ricky: :ricky:

Well done :thumleft:

This guy changed colour again, now it is grey and blue, ......

.........but still the kilos stack up .....

Due to life and health issues (Back), my Peeg is only sitting at around 150,000km, but I do have 16 tax discs for the old girl, there were 2 or 3 in the holder when I got it.

I am humbled. My GS on 91K

I am aiming for 100k in the coming year.

I've had 3 bikes with which I did over 100 000km.
1979/80  Z1R mk2II  sold at around 120 000km
1983 GPz1100 (shown earlier in thread) bought at 32 000 sold at 152 000
2004 R1150GSA (still in use) bought at 36 000, currently a few km shy of 170 000
I rough estimate has me between 5 and 600 000km on 2 wheels .
I cannot imagine not being able to ride.

Bought my 1150 with 70000km on the clock - now at 236000km still as reliable as ever.
I estimate it has done about 100000km of that mileage on dirt.
Still fascinates me to see the front forks flexing on gravel roads at speed.
The bike is still pretty standard except for a 21 inch front wheel.
Engine is still untouched - even the throttle bodies.

I met Andre on the 1150 bash this last weekend ......He has done 342000 on his 1150 and has had it since new. He is 78 years old....RESPECT :thumleft:
