I recently got a F800 GSA and its my 1st bike with a chain. Shortly after I got it, I was driving home and heard a slapping noise under my right foot when accelerating. Got home and checked the chain and it was very slack. Jumped on YouTube to see how to adjust it and I am battling to get it right.
I loosen the 24mm nut and all the vids talk about the little line on the swing-arm that need to line up but my adjuster on nut side only shows the top line and cant move at all. The other can move back to reveal all the lines. So I push the wheel forward and tighten the side that can move so it also just shows 1 line and turn the other side nut to get the 40mm variance but I keep hearing that noise on the 1st ride and when I stop the play is too much again.
Any tip or ideas or must I just take it to BMW cause its getting om my tits now.
