Hi guys
I smelled a rat when my bike wouldn't start a while back and I found the battery bonedry.
I charged it but it ran off again.
Now I took a reading while the bike was idling and the charging rate was 12.8 V.
It drops to 8.6 V when I rev the bike and to confirm this, the headlight dims upon revving .
I spoke to the guys at KROG??? in Waterkant street in Cape Town since they can apparently repair rectifiers etc cheaply, should it be the fault.
Is there any good autolectrician closer to the Helderberg that is worth his salt?
I'm no good when it comes to electrical faults. Won't attempt repairs myself. ???
