Who would have thought that one passion would overflow into another
Great idea

The good weather also seems to have contributed to a great weekend

Better late than never...!
My day started off at around 4-30am, with a quick cuppa and a final check on the banger to see what had been left out, and then it was off to Bergville to meet up with Bushclown, who was going to show me a "alternate" route...... Unfortunately the mist was very thick and some road works were backing things up, so not many pics of the ride up.

More,
Bushclown took me on an awesome track through the hills from Bergville,  where we eventually came out approx halfway down the Sterkfontein Dam road. It was on this track that I had my first "off" again, apologies for lack of picks, but we were running late! When I picked my banger up after the tumble, I noticed that my gear-lever was cracked!!! And I still had aprox 80k's to go to Clarens!!
Needless to say, those last few k's were ridden very gingerly....
I made it to Clarens eventually, only to be told that there was no-one in the "town" that could help me out with a workshop/welder!!!! So after a few frantic phone calls, I located a new lever in Bethlehem!
R350-00 later........!!!!
