Clarens trip

Thanks to all who came with, it was a lekker trip!

I left Centurion at 06h40 Saturday morning, it was so cold I had to warm my crotch under the hand dryer in Bethlehem just to be able to get enough to grip before I could pee.
Needles to say my trigger finger was frozen stiff so no pics were taken till we arrived.

We tried our hand at fishing but I recon the farmer hasn't stocked his dam for the winter yet because there was nothing!! 

Had the most beautifull scenery at the place we stayed.

My wife...? Thanks I also thought so that's why I decided to commit and I popped the question, it been the best two year of my life so far...... and I know she will read this thread tonight so this will really bag me some carnival points!!

Hey guys and gals,

Just a quickie to say thanks to JohnST for organising the whole trip. It was really enjoyable, despite the fact that the fish were a little on the shy side.

To Kykdaar and CHorse, thanks for the great ride and good company on the way down; sorry I had to leave early from Clarens to get back home. For those of you who don't know it yet... some indigenous bastards got into my house and stripped the electronics; 3 x PC's TV, Home theatre, VCR and a few other bits and pieces as well. I'm still making up a full list of missing items. At this stage I estimate about R20k damages

To Mr and Mrs Drazil, it was also good meeting up with you. I hope to see you again in September when I pass that way. Hope you had a good ride home.

As for pics, I'll post a few as soon as I can replace the camera - PC link cable. And John!!! There's no denying the hard evidence!  ;D
