Even so, it was a very enjoyable trip. I am just very thankful that I listened to my little inner voice and bought a pair of thermal wind proof gloves before we left.

Thanks to Chorse and Trailblazer for riding with me and for the good company. Also to John for organising  :thumleft:

Was nice meeting up with Drazil and Mrs Drazil and spending a nice evening braaing and kuiering until John keeled over  >

Sunday morning we set off for Clarens and the Golden Gate Park after which we hit some very nice (even if a bit rocky) and long and deserted stretches of dirt roads through the back of Bethlehem and Reitz.

A few pictures I took -

1. Our lovely 4 star accomodation which was top notch
