Let's call it a "clunking" sound coming from my Dakar when hitting ruts on gravel. Only big ruts and at higher speeds. At first it sounded to me like it came from the fork. Picked up the bike and no play on the head bearings or anything up front. Which led me to the back. There is some play on the rear but i believe some play should be present. Reconned the shock(apparently needed a good service) and replaced some bolts. Less play on the rear but still the clunking persists.. At this point I'm not sure if i should replace the bearing in the linkeage. I'm not even sure if it is coming from the suspension anymore. Checked side stand and center stand. Really not sure what else to check.
So question is, has anybody had this issue before?
Anything else i can check?
Anyone have pricing on the bearing and seals for the linkeage?(the bearing on the bottom of the shock)
