Lem
Grey Hound
Hi fellow piggy farmers.
Took the 1150 out for a ride yesterday, when I leant a bit harder on the throttle...around 4500rpm there was a slight clutch slip starting to emerge. I could still just tone down throttle a bit and then it went back to normal. Kilos on 87000km.
My question to the gurus...,
is this the start of a clutch issue? Or is there usually something else lurking like a gearbox bearing/shaft issue?
Will a gearbox oil change lenghten the lifespan? Can only the clutch plate be replaced, and if so...are there some alternative plates available from the likes of Midas/Autozone?
Thanks :thumleft:
