Cpt to Pta and back to Cpt VIA Sani pass..The time has Come!!

Hey all...

Was pondering this weekend, the misses needs to be in Pta on her B-day (14 July..) and instead of flying up there we decided to make a lekke trip of it, ....

We want to do Cpt tp Pta in about 3 days, Leaving Friday the 10th july - skipping the boring N1, maybe go pass Sutherland, Kimberly and so on - any ideas would be welcome.

Then arrive in Pta 12th sometime - spend time with her family and leave again Friday 17th July for Clarins/Fouriesburg. Then into Lesotho, then Katse dam to sani pass.... (maybe use 2 days)

Then down again to maybe Port ST. John's and then all the way down to Cpt again (5days or so)

I Have never been to Lesotho, i know it will be the middle of winter - freezing my nuts off and what will it be like - sani pass - worth it to try that time of year? any suggestions will be helpfull??
