Fitted a new rear on my Gs 800 as ive just heard and good things about these Moto z's and straight away left on a 2000km loaded 2up trip. Tyre worked well both on and off road and was just a bit noisy. Got home and it had hardly lost the shine and showed almost no wear. Wow really impressed.Now 6000km later showing very little wear still (80% plus left)i saw some cracks forming around the knobblies. Spoke to supplier in Ct and after checking what my tyre pressure was - answering 2.5 said i must keep it at 3. Kept it there for last 3 weeks it seems there is a few more small cracks. Its normal and i must not worry my man says. I do about 70km daily highway only and then some further weekend rides mix dirt and tar. Tyre cost a pretty penny but more importantly how safe is this, is it the norm. Any advice thoughts
