Crf450L ECU mods / aftermarket ECU

So i finally got my 450L, which I am very happy about.

There’s a FMF pipe and aftermarket air filter installed, which is great and all that. Sounds amazing…

However..!

The problem that I have is that the bike get SUPER hot. Like piping hot..

If my right calf was in an oven together with a Sunday roast it would be no different.

I been told that because of regulations and to pass emissions, there’s a lot of restrictions on the standard exhaust and the bike is also made to run super lean…

No that I have and FMF slip on and aftermarket air filter, it’s like having a fan blowing on coals (with my calf just behind..).

Has anyone had this issue?

As being based in SA, what would you guys advise? (Eg: Honda ECU mods @ a tuner, Vortex ECU, Gets ECU, …)

Since I got an FMF slip on only I was thinking of maybe getting the head pipe, but it’s super hard to find and very expensive.

Not sure also whether the last item would bring value for money…

Please help!
If you have any input, I would like to hear your thoughts / advises..
