Just thinking about De Wildt in 1976 the areas i rode had no fancy names and Marula Sun was not even built yet. You could leave kit in the back of your bakkie at the police station and it would be there when you came back. The only place we had a nickname for was " STINKFISH CAFE" Why you may ask ? Well the reason was simple. Fish was kept in the Fridge with cooldrinks and there was a problem with the fridge for a few days and the fish thawed and rotted. The smell of the fish was forever in that fridge. Everytime we would buy a cooldrink we had to drink it with our nose closed. Those day's although i had ridden there for 11years i never new about "Da Rock" even. Only rode it for the first time about 7 months ago. Three fences was just a moerse tough river bed to ride. HOW About SHARING some of those names on the Forum ?
