So...I haven't been riding for a while and knew that my battery was moeg. Other day tried to start the bike, and wha-la, battery dead as can be.
So I asked the gardener to give me a push - usually it takes pretty quickly with a push. We pushed and pushed, and nothing. So I thought, maybe the battery is so moeg that it's time for a new one. So I did that - now the engine swings like as if it's a 50...swings, but still dead.
So then I thought, maybe the fuel pump is moeg. I bought the Facet replacement a while ago, but never fitted it. So I did that today (never attempt to fit the rubber mount on your own - an extra pair of hands and a vice makes it a 5min job). Anyway, she's still dead.
Naturally the next thing to check will be the rectifier (will a bust rectifier actually cause my bike not to start?). Any other ideas/fault-finding techniques?
I'm really pissed. Summer has arrived and I cannot ride
Thanks all :thumleft:
