So I am planning a trip in December. I some of this route in December last year but this year I would like to do it again with the missus. We are riding 2-up on a '03 F650GS Dakar. We would like to camp most places or do budget accommodation. This is my wife's first long distance trip on a bike so I am wanting to make it memorable but not scarring ... 
I have attached the route that I would like to try, however the section there through Lesotho ie Ficksburg - Katse - Semonkong and out I haven;t done before. those in the know please have a look and see if the route that I am considering is actually doable particularly 2-up.
Last December I did the Fouriesburg/Monantsa route and thought that was quit doable with pillion.
Please, any feedback would be appreciated.
