A mate of mine has been offered a 1200 GSA for a verrrrrrrey good price. The problem is that the bike was filled with diesel instead of petrol by a petrol jockey at some stage. (I seem to be hearing this story quite a lot lately)
So my question is this, How much damage would this do to the engine assuming it started, which it would do until the diesel got through the system.
Would a petrol engine run on diesel for any length of time and would the diesel damage the engine in any way considering that it is basically a lubricant.
