My digital clock below the gear indicator indicates 00:00 each time the ignition is turned on.
The clock counts up from 00:00 as an elapsed time if the ignition remains on (when you ride) , but returns to 00:00 once the ignition is turned off and then on again.
If you reset the clock to the correct time, the clock runs correctly as long as the ignition is on, but the time resets to 00:00 if the ignition is turned off and then back on.
New bike battery recently installed. All other instrument cluster indications are normal.
