Recently change a tire on my bike and was wondering about the more off road orientated tires that does not comply with the top speed rating of the bike.
I am sure the insurance company can and will refuse a claim if they investigate and discover that the speed rating of the tire/s on the bike does not comply with the top speed of the bike as indicated by the manufacturer.
This means that, especially on the bigger and faster DS bikes one must be careful when fitting tires, especially the more off road orientated ones witch normally have a lower speed rating.
Does anyone know of or have such an experience of a claim being investigated and refused due to the wrong tires fitted on a bike?
