Sadly all good gravel roads come to an end, and we turned off towards Uniondale

20 posts per page. Don't worry about number of pictures here - they are way less than I sometimes end up posting in my reports on one page and they seem to work fine so far, so you should be OK here.

Thanks, yes, looks like next page starts on the 20th post. Would be nice if it were only 10 or 15, or if we could add something like a page break. I'm not a fan of scrolling, but these single dot posts don't work for me. Ah well.

Dankie vir report en mooi fotos, ek wou daai Kamanasie pad al paar keer gaan ry het, maar nooit genoeg tyd gehad.
Kan jy dalk se wat jy alles aan jou DR laat doen het, Madelaine se DR kort ook so bietjie aandag, staan al op 150 000km.

Dis 'n lekker pad daai, pragtige uitsigte!

Eintlik maar net bietjie TLC vir die Hooligan gegee en hom bietjie mooi gemaak. Die enjin is nog dieselfde as toe jy hom gesien het by WC Bash laas jaar, staan nou op 70 000km. Nog nie probleme gegee nie. Meeste goedjies is kosmeties - raam is gepowdercoat want dit was erg gekrap en ek was bang vir roes, ceramic coat op die exhaust header. Ek het wel emulator valves gekry vir voorvurke, en is baie in my skik met die verskil wat dit maak. Agterskok se preload is bietjie verstel sodat die "sag" eweredig is voor en agter.

Wil nog graag die enjin casings laat mooi maak, want dit steek nou af teen die res van die motorfiets, haha. Sal sien, moet eers weer spaar.

Ek wil ook 'n nuwe universal fairing bestel, lyk soos die fairing op die 1994 DR650 wat deur SuperDavexlv750R geadverteer word, maar daardie gaan nog rukkie vat om te kom klink dit my.

However, I only manage to reach Stormsrivier near the N2.

Time is no longer on my side, as I am further away from Vleesbaai than I expected to be. I let my family know that I'll arrive about an hour later, turn onto the N2 and open the Hooligan's throat to roar down the highway like a purple... well... hooligan, passing all obstacles and slow moving trucks in my way and praying that the speed cops are snoozing.

At Riversonderend I turn off at the garage to fill up the thirsty Hooligan,

Nou is ek verdwaal?!! Het jy regtig Riviersonderend toe gery vanaf Stormsvlei om petrol in the gooi of het jy verkeerd getik en het eintlik by Buffeljagsrivier petrol ingegooi?

Ek is seker ek het al menigmaal genoem hoe sleg is ek met name. Julle is nie verdwaal nie - ek gebruik maar net die naam naaste aan wat ek dink dit moet wees. Hoekom dink julle neem ek al die naamborde af  :imaposer:

Thanks Keith, I'll try. I'm mostly sorted for Nam, but there is so much that happened - this was definitely one of the best Bashes ever :biggrin:
