I'm currently busy restoring and old XR250 thumper...
Obviously some rust has accumilated over the years on the bolts and nuts and internal fittings and parts and so on.
I'm considering getting one of those electroplating DIY kits (steel, Alu and what else there is on the bike) but just can't find a supplier anywhere in the Gauteng/Pretoria area?
Does anyone know where I can get my hands on one of these beginner entry level kits that won't cost a fortune?
Is it worth it or should I rather take it all and hand it in at the experts? And if so, where?
