This is a 2 day event hosted by the Pmb Motorcycle and Car Club at the Golden Horse Casino. There are a bunch of guys with William (Wild Will) Gillett and others who set a seriously technical track in the parking area of the horse race track in front of the grandstand and invite some frineds for a ride. This year was again superbly organized, although they battled a bit to get enough entries. Guys were reluctant to ride due to the higher risk of injury and it is very early in the enduro season. But the bravest of the brave eventually came and we were treated to some spectacular riding and falling of course. The grandstand was packed, 1000's of people came and the organisers were very happy with the turnout. At least they did not have to beg the spectators to come, and the weather was great, a bit on the hot side for the poor riders though.
Sponsorship of sections of track was taken up by the normal supporters, and the place looked nice and colorful. It is good that these guys got some value for money....
Jade Gutzeit (sp?) was the man of the day and he took the "Champion of Champions comfortably. Brian Capper was second. Lots of other big names around too.
