Enduro World Spring Prawn Run to Mozambique 11 - 13th September
Adventure Bikers - we only have 8 places so book early to feast on prawns in Maputo and idyllic riding in Mpumalanga, Swaziland and Mozambique. Our base for the weekend is Kings Mountain, situated about 15 km from Barberton. It is nestled between the mountains and forests, creating a relaxed atmosphere.
We leave Jhb early Friday to arrive at Kings Mountain before the sun sets. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and a healthy farmers'' breakfast before we depart to Mozambique for a prawn lunch. The route there will take us through Swaziland on scenic dirt roads. After lunch we depart back to Kings Mountain, again following dirt roads through Swaziland.
Once back on the farm, we settle down for a braai in the evening. Sunday we depart to Kaapsehoop after another farmers'' breakfast for a visit to this beautiful little town, and if we are lucky we might see the wild horses.
From here the group can split up and depart for home in their own time.
The cost:
R990 per person. This includes Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast & dinner and Sunday breakfast.
Excludes all fuel, toll fees, border fees, lunch in Mozambique and cold drinks/beer.
There is a honesty bar on the farm selling cold drinks, chips and chocolates, but NO alcohol.
