Need some info from someone who has done this before or has knowledge of the procedure.
Long story short, I bought a bike in December to bring to Zambia and have been told I need to import it as a temporary import permit is problematic.
What I know:
Must microdot the bike.
Must obtain a SARPCO Clearance
Must deregister the bike
Must obtain export clearance from SARS

what I don't know:
How long does it take to get SARPCO Clearance?
Do I need to get the clearance from SARS before I reach the border or do I do that at the border?
What papers are needed to get the export clearance besides the ones mentioned above?
Would I be able to do this at Martins Drift as I intend riding to Zambia through Botswana and make a road trip of the whole affair.
Any useful advice information would be appreciated.
