F650GS backfires

Hi guys

Every once in a while when I blip the throttle on a down change my F650 backfires.

This happens on lowish revs (3000 RPM) and I think it happens when I do not open the throttle beg enough when I blip. Has anyone else experienced this ?

Is it normal , and how can I prevent this from happening ?
