Hi,
I have a set of wide footpegs on my Dakar but I still have the original footpegs.
I would like to use the originals for commuting as I find that the wide ones are a bit hard on my boots.
It seems easy enough to swap these out as the footpegs are held in place with a split pin (& washer) which fits through a pivot pin.
What tools are necessary to remove and replace the split pin? A long-nose pliers?
Also, where can I find a supply of appropriate split pins? I'd prefer to replace with new rather than re-use the existing split pin.
