Hopefully I can get some advice from F800 GS owners.
When I start my bike for the first in the day there seems to be excessive noise / rattle in the engine for the 1st 2 to 3 seconds and then it goes away. Subsequent starts during the day don't produce the rattle.
I have a 2008 with 27000 km (just had its 30000 km service)
IS THIS NORMAL? ??? Or must I start saving for an engine rebuild? Been told that this is normal as the engine oil must circulate after standing for an extended period (IE over night) :-\
Would appreciate comments.
