"Things" are rather quiet as far as the new 850 goes - which may actually means that it's going to be yet another success story from the Germans!! eepwall:
Personally I like the looks; increased cc and hp as well as the talk that it's smoother with a better engine note, but what concerns me a bit is the fuel tank size of only 15l; and a complete lack of actual specifications, of which probably the most important one missing is weight - just a BMW PR lady in a video stating that it's heavier on account of all the extra technology ... :-\ (maybe somebody here found more specs...)
I also prefer the standard instrumentation with the analogue rev-counter, they can really keep that colour TFT display with cell phone connectivity - one of the reasons I do adventure riding is actually to get away as far as possible from phones and email !!!
So, what do you old 800 guys think?...
