Tiger reef bar, right on our doorstep. Not much riding today, just cruizing around and checking out walvis.

Went to do some dune riding. Sand is quite thick, but of course the DR managed fine. Beer had a lot more trouble trying to dig the KLR out and getting it to plain.

We drove around in Walvis a bit and returned to camp, stocked up the Kappa beer cooler and braaid.
Tomorrow we head for Maltehohe.

Day 8,
Our first stint is off to Solitaire. Unfortunately we had to get to the Orange River by new years and did not have time to head to sossusvlei.

47 degrees, eish would have been nice. It's for this reason you never put coldrink in your hydro pack. Hot water is easier to drink than hot coldrink.

We stayed the night at the Onrus caravan park. This would also be our most expensive accommodation at about R100 a head, eish.

Next day it was off to home where we finished our trip at Kriges and then again at Albertos
