Race Dog
On my last ride to the Cederberg, I found that with my height I battled to do "stand-up" riding downhills as my bars were too low.
On good authority, I have decided to change my handlebars to higher ones, as apposed to fitting bar raisers. Why? Because I managed to get a nice shaped Varadero handlebar which seems like it will give me more height, and looks like it won't entail messing about with extended cables, etc.
To the guys that know, is there anything specific I should keep in mind when changing bars. I see I will have to replace the hand grip as it seems pretty solidly stuck. But if there is ANYTHING I should keep in mind when doing this conversion, please share your thoughts.
Thank you in anticipation.
