Suzuki XF 650 Freewind for sale. Dark blue, excellent condition, 71,500km. R27,500.
Extras: Kappa Screen
Aftermarket exhaust
Givi Topbox
1000 Lumen LED Spots.
Just properly serviced: new brake fluid, new battery, chain and sprockets still new, Michelin Anakee II’s has probably seen 1000km. Well maintained and rust free.
The Suzuki XF650 Freewind is basically a DR650 in European attire, with fairing. It shares the same dual sport underpinnings and motor as the DR650, with a road bias. At 830mm seat height it comfortable for shorter and medium individuals as well.
What I like most about the 650 is its addictive midrange. It is a thumper, and combined with that exhaust beat it goes really well.
It lived in Gauteng for its entire life so the bike is rust free. It has probably seen two owners only and looking at the condition it was garaged for most of its life. These bikes have a solid reputation for reliability – it is a Suzuki, and hold their value well.
Just passed the roadworthy test and license fees paid upfront for a year.
MCN overall Rating: 4 out of 5 - Cruise comfortably at 80mph, screw the pants off it on a winding road or peer over traffic from the high seat on your way to work: the Suzuki XF650 Freewind is a versatile motorcycle that’s great value and something a little different. The handling’s particularly notable. If you must take the Suzuki XF650 Freewind off road, keep it simple though. And it’s a shame about that name…
