I was travelling home this afternoon when I hit a pothole. It was a fairly hard bump, but at least I stayed right side up. :thumleft: A bit further, I thought that the bike had a slight jerking motion when I slowed down at a STOP sign. I pulled away, thought I could still feel it, but home was just round the corner, so I parked the bike. When I wanted to go to the shops later, I could not push the bike backwards or forward. On inspection, I found the attached (I hope it is attached; took me longer to upload pictures than to remove the rubber !) wedged between front sprocket and chain
I had to remove the sprocket cover and cut some of the rubber away before I could free the sprocet
My question is, does this come from somewhere on the bike ? (2008 model) ? Or was it flung up from the road, and managed to wedge in between the sprocket and chain ?
