Something that has occurred to me about a single cylinder engine because of my two twin cylinder (360 degree crank bikes).
Now on the single... In a completed cycle the crank goes around twice, with the ignition pick-up being induced twice, I would assume. I know it must fire on the compression stroke (Duh !), BUT does it then also give a ('dead') spark on the exhaust stroke (the other TDC) when it would pass the ignition pick-up again ?
