I have stumbled upon a nice free little program for cellphones that records the track you ride, drive or walk.
It is Java based, so it works on most phones (I have tested it using a Nokia E75).
The recorded track is saved as a KML file ready for import into Google earth. (example shown below)
Works really nice...
