Thanks Sid and Chris and Charles for a lekker weekend and lots and lots of dirt road beer and droë wors. Sid I think the animals did not like me this weekend. After the sheep story and on my way home way home a horse ran in front of me before Heilbron and then again a wild buck after Heilbron but at leat I made it home in one pierce.

I was just behind Schalk with the horse incident.  :biggrin: :thumleft:

As Jimbo mentioned, Cyclops and I only just got home before the rains came down in our area..... but only after a quick beer at Battlefields Pub & Grill near Estcourt. ot:

The ol' Transalp's speedo cable snapped somewhere along the way, so I had no idea how fast I was going, or how far... time to do some maintainence I reckon!

Tommy, before I took Friday off, I had a few bids to do (no they are not one pagers), so first one goes in Thursday in Lephalale (we have to hand deliver), first thing today the new boss says can we push that bid, I am not in Wednesday and I am going up there on Thursday so I can drop it off.

So a proper days work and you can imagine how strong I was feeling.

This was one to remember. Very little sleep for the 3 days we were there.

5 Days , 4 days riding with [member=12098]cocky[/member] . 3000km mixed tar and gravel longest day 1000km . It was a great ride even though my butt was broken .

@ Jeff - It was an honour meeting you and all the other dogs that I have not had the pleasure of meeting before.
