My 800XC has been breaking the front mudguard a lot. I've epoxied it 3 times now with an aluminium flat bar to brace it and it still breaks. I only found out on a ride this weekend why it breaks. After it breaking, I cable tied it to the fork and then I heard after a serous compression on the front end that the mudguard actually rubs on the tyre. SO now I'm gonna epoxy it again but raise the aluminium bracing about 10mm. I know you can get the riser kit, but at $50+ it's a serious rip off, just like the mudguard itself @ R1000+
