Fuel Pump Failure

My fuel pump failed on the way to the EC bash. I had read that they will run without a pump. We simply by passed the pump and the bike ran perfectly.

I have a 30l safari tank and the bike cut out out after I had used 18l. You need the weight of the fuel to feed the carb's. I filled the tank and it started first try.
