I have a 660 so also have Mapsource & am familiar with it all.
My wife is going to Dubai. She suggests buying a GPS for herself there. She only needs it for finding places in the City (Cape Town) or round about. For trips we use the 660. Her needs:
1. Lower end of price range.
2. Just for use in car.
3. Big screen is advantage because she needs reading glasses - even the 660 needs to be stuck quite far for her to be able to read it.
4. Audio instructions because of #3.
5. Compatability with Zumo 660 & Mapsource.
She will have to buy SA maps. What will that cost her? Is it, in fact, no cheaper buying in Dubai if you have to still buy & licence maps locally?
We are away from Friday morning for the weekend so will not respond - please advise even though I don't respond.
