Garmin Zumo 500 irreparable - What are my options

Hi Guys,

I took my Zumo 500 in to Garmin to get looked at as it would not turn on or charge. Plug the device into the PC and the screen flashes on and off... Meh!

Garmin offering me a replacement on a 595LM for R8k :eek7:

Anyone know of a technician or fundi that might know or can take a look at the unit for me? Maybe someone knows someone who knows someone, who knows someone type thing...
