The Djebel has a low, winding noise in 6th gear. Only in 6th gear and more noticeable at lower speeds. I saw some videos on Youtube regarding face wear on the gears. Could this be a cause? I know it is difficult to diagnose without opening it up, but it has been doing this for quite a while (a few thousand km's) with no apparent issues. It still runs beautifully up to 104km/h on a level road with my fat ass on it. Question is, how long can I ride it like this before it f*cks out?
Obviously if it is bearing related it will need to be looked at.
The bike currently has 53000km on it and is running beautifully with no signs of oil use so I don't want to open up unnecessarily.
I am currently using Actevo in the motor, should I I try and use a thicker oil rather as a temporary measure?
