For those planning to cut through the back dirt roads between Faerie Glen (Pretoria) and Boschkop - which we did very often on rides which started at the BP in Old Farm Road and which went along Olympus, Achilles and Zwavelpoort St before turning left into Giant Reed road (and then on towards Boschkop) - you will come to a large remote controlled gate and signage inviting you to contact your host or to bugger off.
Still had pedestrian gates open - do not know whether on purpose or not. The other gate is at the top of the hill.
