Goggles

I have heard some peple comment on taking off their visors when offroad and using goggles (mx style) instead. any merit on this. I want to purchase a MX helmet when i finally rob the treasury like i have been planning (i wonder if they will come and arrest me for writing this like in the states- i will let you know) But for now i'm still using my Sportintregal with visor and sunglasses.

Any thoughts?
