A couple of weeks ago, we got our hands on two KTM 1290 Super Adventures – both an S and an R. The S is good fun, especially if you're vertically challenged like me. And it will go further down the dirt path than most people would be willing to believe, but South Africa is a special place. The people are special. When they go off-road they want everything. They want the R. But is 160hp a good idea on a dirt bike? I found an empty dirt road in the Limpopo Province to find out.
