Hi All,
Not much experience with adventure bikes, been running the gauntlet between pretoria and Johannesburg on a daily basis with rattletrap KLE 500. Dependable but very rattly bike, bit slow compared to others, but very good for someone who started riding at 40, and who has never ridden a bike (except the odd 50cc of a friend in school). I am eagerly awaiting the delivery of my brand new Triumph Tiger 800XC this Friday. Very excited but also a bit nervous of riding such a much faster and stronger bike. Really looking forward to hit some dirt an take the road less travelled. One last note, thanks to the owner of Strompie, he introduced me to the forum.
