Any of the WD’s done the Gorilla experience in Africa?
I’m planning on seeing the Gorillas in Rwanda in August next year. (One of the things still on my bucket list). Planning on 4x4-ing to Jungle Junction (home base) in Nairobi en then fly to Kigali for 3 days for the Gorilla experience. Then a few days in Massai Mara and probably Serengeti. The thing is, that you need to book Gorilla walk 6 months in advance, and therefore have to start planning as early as possible.
Things I need to know – (first hand info)
• Best time of year
• Country Rwanda /Uganda?
• Drive in or fly in?
• What Gorilla group to see NB!!!
• Short walk or Long Walk (1-6 hour)
