Before this year, I had never even sat on a bike before. Went on holiday to Namibia, and I saw how much fun I was missing out on, so I came back and did the novice course at Swartkopps. It's amazing how exhilarating it can be riding around on those little delivery bikes for the first time. Man, I was hooked !
Got myself a Xcountry to learn to ride on (what an amazing bike !) and I've just traded her in for an 800GS.
Went to get crash bars and bash plate fitted today.
I've been reading some of the ride reports on the forum and can't wait to get out and start doing some real adventure riding. Will certainly need lots of practice before then
