HELP!!
As I mentioned in my Bav report, my scooter is using lots of oil. I need shares in Shell or BP.
The problem started a while ago, I think just after the last service. The bike started using oil, 500ml every time I fill up. By the end of the Bav trip it was more like 500ml every 100k's. There's no oil leak, not even a sweating joint on the engine, but everything is blown out the exhaust. Hold your hand over it and rev the motor twice and your hand is BLACK.
So what can be causing this? Rings, valves, valve stem seals?
I don't want to take it to some Kum-and-suck-me dealer and have them rip me off. What can I check?
