Hi guys

I need some advice please:  I'm in need of a set of side panniers for the 1200GSA and my options are:

- Trax 37/45lt combo  [±R 8 000?]
- Globescout            [R 10 500]
- 2nd hand BMW        [R 8 000 - R 10 000?]
- Home made            [< R2000?]

I like the "look" of the exhaust cut-out as on the Globescout and BMW, yet it looks like one pays for that too!
Anyone having experience with the Globescouts yet?
What trouble/problems can I expect to find on a pair of 2nd hand BMW panniers if someone sells them for ex. ±R8000?
Is it worth the time & effort in trying to build one's own panniers?  I do a bit of woodworking, have built an aluminium canopy, etc. but I guess to a degree it will always look home made.  (if only I can find some of those black corner protectors).

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!
