Okay, so it looks like we will have a "quorum" for a weekend at the Lilani Hot Springs.
Location:
- S29 07.001 E30 51.100
- about 36Km east of Greytown KZN - 500km from JHB
- 18Km of easy dirt road from R74 between Greytown and Kranskop
- Can do in roady car
Dates
- 30Nov or 1Dec -> 2 Dec
Facilities and Description
- Fairly basic - community owned and administered
- Hot springs/ small pools
- Communal kitchen - cutlery/crockery/kettles etc
- plumbing and power a bit dodgy.
- Fridges
- TV without reception ;D
- Good Vodacom signal - MTN / CelC ?
Accom. - chalets and rondawels have bedding.
7 chalets all single room and toilet/shower
- 5 with 2 beds and sleeper couch
- 2 with 3 beds and sleeper couch
Rondavel 1 - 1 Double bed and sleeper couch
Rondavel 2 - Downstairs = Sleeper Couch, upstairs 4 single beds
Camping - Not "official" but level space on grass for 5 tents
- Single toilet.
- Cold showers and basin at pools
- No power
- Use of shower in Chalet 8 (chalet being repaired but shower works)
Standard Rates:
Chalets - R380 per chalet/couple - extra person in chalet R100
Rondawel 1 - R380 per couple + R100 for extra person
Rondawel 2 - R380 for couple + R100 per extra person.
** whole venue has been pre-booked and pre-paid out of Gunda's tax Refund ;D **
