Hi Everyone

I'm thinking of gutting the silencers to get rid of the cat and improving the sound and performance a bit. Has anyone done this themselves?
The cutting and the welding won't be a problem, but I'm wondering about the following:

1.Does one need to cut both ends of the silencer to get both the cat and the baffels out?
2.Making or buying a new baffel or baffel material. Where can this be sourced? (the metal pipe bit with all the holes in)
3.What to do about the small hole at the business end of the silencer, leave it or make up a new plate?

I heard someone said I could get it done for about R1800.00
New Bossons cost R3400.00 - not bad - maybe a better option

I found this photo on KTMinfo.com in case anyone was wondering what was inside the silencers.
