Headlight question

I need to replace the headlight bulb on my 990 Adv (2010). Are there any replacement bulbs/lights I can use that will give me better light than the standard ones? I don't want to upgrade the whole thing, just thought it would be good to replace with better bulb.
Btw, is it an easy job to replace this myself?
